Welcome to the 2nd season of The IMDb Challenge. This season will be based on the Inferno and while this game won't follow exactly the shows format it will still test everyone's social and challenge skills. There's no jury so remember, use every dirty trick in the book to get to the end. Good luck challengers.

Rules:

You will all start off with in teams who will go head to head for immunity. Everyone from the winning team is safe from the Inferno.

Power Player - 1 challenger from the winning team will become whats called the Power Player. He/she will get to nominate 1 challenger from the opposite team to go in the elimination round known as The Inferno. The rules to become Power Player will be described during every challenge.

Inferno - The other player will be chosen by the losing team. After the Power Player has made his/her nomination, the losing team (except the person nominated) will have 1 hour to PM me who they want to go into the Inferno. Failure to vote will result in a penalty vote.

The 2 players nominated into the Inferno will battle it out for a chance to come back into the game. Loser says good bye.

There are two teams this season, Team Blue & Team Purple. Each team will consists of 7 challengers of course. They will become your teammates, or worst enemies, depends who you look at it. Everyone was chosen to their teams by random.org so hopefully you are with someone you like.




I will now begin to split you guys up into your teams.

Well this game is done a bit differently from the show.

After the Power Player chooses someone from the opposite team to go into the Inferno, the losing team will PM me who they want to see in the Inferno. So yes, you're going into eliminations with your team if you lose.

So there's a special announcement I have to make before the challenge tonight. As I've noticed, nijonas hasn't responded to my PM's lately and doesn't seem to be very active. I really wanted to include him in this game but its unknown if he'll even show up at all. So it saddens me to say, nijonas will not be joining us this season. ):

I tried to reach him but couldn't. Anyways, Team Purple no worries, you will not start this game with only 6 players. There's someone waiting to join too...

Welcome to the 1st challenge of the season. Tonight you and your teammates will battle it out for immunity and it WILL involve team work.

Tonight we will be playing War Zone. I will created a thread for each team. Your goal is to attack the other team's thread but also to defend your own thread. From what? Well each team will have 3 attackers and 4 defenders and they both have a different task.

The goal for the attacker is to try to post at a stamp of 30 seconds or 00 seconds (EX: 08:49:30 or 08:49:00) on the opposite team's thread. So for example lets say Kim, Jess and Jimmy are the attackers for Team Blue then they must post on Team Purple's thread at the 30 second or 00 second stamp. For each person that posts in that stamp they get 1 point. However if a defender from the opposite team ALSO posts at that time stamp then you do not get the points.

The game is simpler then you think. You will have 30 minutes (starting at 8:00PM Central) and in the end the team with the most points scored wins immunity from the Inferno! The player from the winning team who had the most stamps at :30 seconds and :00 seconds will win Power Player and will get to nominate someone from the opposite team to the Inferno

I need a representative from each team to post on this thread who will be the 3 attackers and 4 defenders from their team. If no one posts before 7:55 then I will random.org it for you guys. I will post the link to your threads at 8:00PM.

I got the results now.


I want to say this was a very fun challenge to watch. Some noteworthy performaces came from Arik & Tara, you guys did some great defending for Team Purple. Mike & Jessica did some great attacking for their team but I tallied up all the points that counted and in the end Team Purple had 30 points while Team Blue only got 02 points. So congratulations Team Purple, you guys have won immunity and are safe from elimination.



Team Blue, all that talk didn't show up in this challenge. You guys are full of good players so its a shame to see 1 of you will leave in tomorrow's Inferno.

Now for the winner of the Power Player, it came down to 2 people, DJMykee & Arik2745, but the winner of the 1st Power Player of the season is....Arik. Congratulations. I guess now will be the perfect time to also add that you are also immune for tomorrow's immunity challenge. Yes, the Power Player also wins immunity for the next challenge so congrats you earned it.

Arik, you now have 30 minutes to decide who you want to see in tomorrow's Inferno. If you don't post your nomination in 30 mins of less then you will lose your immunity.

Welcome guys to the 1st Inferno of the season. Last night Team Blue suffered an embarrasing defeat against Team Purple in the 1st challenge of the season. The Power Player Arik decided to nominate Z_uchini_Man for tonight's Inferno, stating it as the fair thing to do. Kyogre got 3 votes from his teammates making him face of tonight against Z_uchini_Man. Tonight Robbie & Henry will be battling it out in Twisted. This will be one of the 4 Infernos this season. Once all 4 Infernos have been played then we can go back to using this one.

Z_uchini_Man and kyogre123, I will be posting a list of 15 scrambled up words. 5 of them are movies, 5 are tv shows and 5 are singers/bands. The object of this Inferno is for you to try and figure out which words go in which category.

Tonight you will be playing Pop Knowledge, if it sounds familiar its because it was played during the 1st season. Here's how you play. There are seven rounds in this game. One of the rounds will look something like this..

EX: Name One of the Seven Continents.

Your goal will be to post on this thread one of seven continents. However if someone has already posted the answer you posted then you must quickly answer with something that hasn't been taken. Each round will have fewer and fewer players until the final round its 1 v 1. The final person standing will win Power Player and win their team immunity.

Welcome to the 2nd Inferno of the season. Last night we saw Twisted, but tonight we are playing Perfect Timing

The object of this Inferno is simple. I will have 5 questions one at a time. The question can be anything. When I post the question you must PM me your answer. Now here's how you get scored.

If you send at "07:23:57" then you get 7 points. Basically you get the number of points for the last digit number in your timeline. HOWEVER, if you send 1st you get your scored multiplied by 2, so if you sent at "07:23:57" 1st then you get 14 points. If you send 2nd, then you still get points but they won't be multiplied by two.

I would recommend trying to get the last number to be 9, but be careful not to get 0.

Whoever has the most points after 5 questions wins the Inferno and gets to stay in the game.

The person to send in 1st gets 3 points ADDED to their score BUT the person to send 2nd gets 2 points SUBTRACTED from their score. Everyone else who sends after that gets 1 point added to their score AND the person who sends in last gets 3 points SUBTRACTED to their score.

If you fail to send in anything or you get the lyric WRONG, then you are out and you lose all your points. There will be a total of 8 rounds. At the end the team with the most combined points wins immunity. The player from the winning team with the most points gets to be the new Power Player. Thats a sweet price.

Seems like tonight was messy but nonetheless A-Supreme got all 3 words right and he's pretty much untouchable at this point. Dan congratulations you are the new Power Player. Please nominate anyone from Team Blue expect for Kyogre because he has immunity.

There's drama because Jimmy is inconsistent in his values here. He says that he wants to volunteer to go inside the Inferno yet he only does this when he doesn't have another option. Welcome to tonight's Inferno. After last night's challenge Team Purple managed another easy win over Team Blue who all failed to show up on time. A-Supreme won Power Player and nominated John into the Inferno. Team Blue chose Jimmy to face John. Now xsourxgumxrocksx, CaptainJimmy18 you both have been proven champs in the Games Board so I know its gonna be a close one. Throughout this game there are 4 Infernos, we've already seen 2, Twisted & Perfect Timing. Tonight we are playing Stamp.

In this Inferno, there will only be 5 rounds. Each round is 1 point, 1st to 3 points wins the Inferno. During each round I will post a number between 00-59. So if I post the number 17, your task is to try to get your time post at the 17th second mark (ex: 19:09:17). You must post in this thread.

If you get it 1st then you get 1 point, that round is over and I will move on to the next round. If you both happen to get it at the same time, neither of you get a point. The game is quite simple.

So your job is to post in this thread whether the person is Dead or Alive. If you post 1st and get it right 1st, you get to pick 1 number. If you post 1st and get it wrong then your opponent gets to pick 1 number. 1 of these 8 spoiler tags will win you the Inferno. Your job is to try and find it before your opponent. 1st person to get it wins the Inferno
